Certificate 3 Guarantee

What is the Certificate 3 Guarantee?

The Certificate 3 Guarantee program is a Queensland Government initiative which provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to complete their first post school Certificate III qualification.

What courses are available under the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program?

HANMAC has been approved to offer the following qualifications under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program:

  • CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services.
  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support.
Am I eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee?

To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee a participant must:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent Resident or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency who has a permanent Queensland address
  • Not have completed or hold a recognised certificate III or higher qualification in any field, not including qualifications completed at school and foundations skills training.
  • Not be currently enrolled in, or studying towards the completion of a Certificate III or higher level qualification.
  • No longer be at school
  • Be over the age of 15
How is training delivered?

Do I have to pay fees under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program?

Students are required to pay a student contribution fee under the Certificate 3 Guarantee program. Information on fees and charges can be found on the fees page or relevant qualification’s page of this website.
