FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways

This qualification has been designed to assist students with developing work skills to prepare for work or entry into a vocational pathway.

To successfully complete this qualification students must complete 14 units of competency.

Elective units

  • FSKDIG003 Use digital technology for routine workplace tasks

  • FSKLRG009 Use strategies to respond to routine workplace problems

  • FSKNUM014 Calculate with whole numbers and familiar fractions, decimals and percentages for work. 

  • FSKNUM015 Estimate, measure and calculate with routine metric measurements for work.

  • FSKNUM017 Use familiar and routine maps and plans for work

  • FSKNUM019 Interpret routine tables, graphs and charts and use information and data for work

  • FSKOCM007 Interact effectively with others at work

  • FSKRDG010 Read and respond to routine workplace information

  • FSKWTG009 Write routine workplace texts

  • BSBMED305 Apply the principles of confidentiality, privacy and security within the medical environment 

  • BSBPEF202 Plan and apply time management

  • CHCCCS010 Maintain a high standard of service

  • CHCCOM005 Commu9nicate and work in health or community services.

Course requirements and recommendations

  • Students must be willing to attend and engage in class
  • A general understanding of English is recommended

  • Unfunded – $2310.
  • Funded – Career Start (QLD students only) – without concession / $210.
